Store love: The Creative Muster

With my daughter's birthday fast approaching (see blog post below this one) I went searching on etsy for a cool perspex number for the cake. I found the perfect neon pink number from Australian store The Creative Muster. Not only is it absolutely perfect, it was posted to me in lightning speed time!

Owner Laura Varsanyi started The Creative Muster up in 2010 as a way to encourage herself to finish her many making projects. With a four month old daughter at home, it was a way of "having a bit of creative time for myself, trying my dream of having an online craft business and making an income".

The Creative Muster store is filled with wonderful crafty things, I absolutely love her perspex creations. Take a look at the dinosaur cake toppers pictured below - they would be amazing for a dinosaur themed party!

The blog also has some amazingly creative parties that Laura has thrown, as well as recipes and diy crafty activities. I love the Australian wreath table setting below, as well as the gold foil Easter egg tutorial.

Laura has always been creative. "Growing up in Canberra, Australia, there wasn't much to do but make things. Since I was a child, anything I wanted, I always tried to make - toys, clothes, cubby houses, even high heeled shoes!"

Laura's craft and party supply ranges are exclusive and ever-changing and she 'delights in empowering others to create'. So wonderful and the logo is amazing!
